Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
